Installation instructions
- Place the Remote Alert Windows Home Server installation file (RemoteAlert.msi) into the shared Add-in folder that is accessible to the Windows Home Server system (\\[SERVERNAME]\Software\Add-Ins).
- Open the Windows Home Server Console by double-clicking the appropriate shortcut on your Windows Home Server desktop or the Windows Home Server Console connector on your client pc.
- Click Settings to open the Windows Home Server Settings Console.
- Click Add-ins in the task pane on the left side of the Windows Home Server Settings Console and then click the Available tab in the Available Add-ins area. You will see the Remote Alert WHS Add-in listed as an available Add-in.
- Click Install to install the Remote Alert WHS Add-in. After the installation is complete, it is necessary to close the Windows Home Server Console.
- When you restart the Windows Home Server Console, you will see a new toolbar icon for Remote Alert in the Windows Home Server Settings Console. Click this icon to open Remote Alert WHS Add-in within the console.
